President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Thursday hosted Malik Agar, Deputy Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, for talks on the security and political situation in Sudan.
The meeting took place at State House Entebbe.
Agar briefed Museveni on developments in his country, outlining the challenges Sudan faces and ongoing efforts to restore stability.
Museveni welcomed the update and stressed the need for dialogue and regional cooperation to end the conflict.
He said peace in Sudan is essential for both its citizens and the wider region.
In a message shared after the meeting, Museveni said he and Agar discussed security and political developments as well as steps being taken to stabilize the country.
