Steel building solutions company Uganda Baati has officially opened its 17th showroom in Kyengera, a booming commercial hub along Masaka Road. Kyengera, strategically positioned near Buloba, Bulega, Mpigi, Nsangi, and Katende, is swiftly becoming a business hotspot, attracting entrepreneurs, schools, and major brands including eateries like KFC, banks such as DFCU, and numerous fuel stations.
The new Uganda Baati showroom, situated on the Kampala–Masaka Highway, will cater to homeowners, contractors, and businesses across Wakiso District and nearby areas. It will stock Uganda Baati’s popular products like Lifestile, Orientile, Romantile, Versatile, Covermax, and Resincot.
Local leaders and residents warmly welcomed the showroom, highlighting its potential to boost local infrastructure and economic growth.
Ganagwa Expedito, LC1 Chairperson of Kyengera town council, said, "The presence of Uganda Baati here means convenience, affordability, and reliability for local builders. It will greatly cut down costs previously spent sourcing quality materials from far away. We will actively encourage residents to buy and use quality products from Uganda Baati."
Patrick Katende, Uganda Baati’s Head of Service Centres and Sales, underlined the showroom’s importance in improving customer experience and reducing counterfeit products. "With this showroom, customers can easily access authentic Uganda Baati products and receive expert guidance on choosing the best solutions, ensuring value for their money and durable quality," he said.
CEO George Arodi highlighted the strategic importance of the new showroom. "Expanding into Kyengera shows our commitment to our 60-year-old mission of bringing premium building solutions closer to local communities. The thriving market and entrepreneurial drive in Kyengera encourage us to keep innovating," he noted.
