Top Model Uganda, a franchisee of Top Model Worldwide based in the United Kingdom has taken a new journey to fight against gender-based violence in schools. Over the weekend, the franchise with a rich history of discovering new talent and creating a platform for youths, brought life to the students of Exodus College located in Banda in Wakiso district with a visit.

Among those that attended the event were the former students of Exodus College and the current Top Model Uganda 2022 winner Sharon Kiyimba. Under the theme 'Yogela Totya', a Luganda word that means 'Speak Up Don't Fear', Top Model Uganda has now started to move to schools spreading the Gender-Based Violence message, creating awareness, and also teaching the students different forms of GBV that happen in schools.

Speaking to the students was Sharon Kiyimba the Top Model Uganda winner, she urged the students to make use of their prefects and senior women whenever they face challenges, especially with sexual harassment.
