A child in Kasese District has tested positive for Ebola Disease Virus in Kasese District that borders the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Minister of Health Jane Ruth Aceng made the announced Tuesday evening.

The patient, a 5-year-old Congolese boy, has been isolated at a hospital in Kasese near the Congo border, Ugandan Health Minister Jane Aceng told reporters.
