The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations and Commander Land Forces Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has reactivated his Twitter account after being off for three days.

Earlier today, the General had indicated that he would rejoin after Twitter has been fully acquired by world's richest man, Elon Musk.

"I shall rejoin Twitter when Elon Musk, a fellow African (and also the richest man on earth) acquires the whole company. At least then we will know the voice of the black man will be heard!"

The message was published by Lt Col Chris Magezi, the Director Information at the UPDF Land Forces and the office of the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations.

However, Gen Kainerugaba tweeted Saturday evening with his verified account telling his followers and supporters to 'never fear'.

"Never fear my followers and supporters. I'm back. I had some decisions to make," Gen Kainerugaba said in his tweet announcing his return to the platform.

His account maintains it's blue verification badge and original year of opening which is 2014.

At the time the General temporarily deactivated his account, it had over 540,000 followers.
