Tanzanian singer Harmonize declared his interest in Winnie Nwagi, days after denying an affair with Laika Music. Harmonize, who was performing at the BellObafest held Sunday, October 23 at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo, Kampala -- said Nwagi would be his pick if he was to get a wife from Uganda.

The 'Single Again' hitmaker recently spent days with Ugandan songstress Laika in Tanzania and she stayed at his apartment. They even got matching tattoos, however, they've both denied being romantically involved. Harmonize, real name Rajab Abdul Kahali, is one of Tanzania's highly decorated artistes. He has worked on music projects with some of the biggest names on the continent, including Burna Boy, Mr. Eazi, Yemi Alade and Diamond Platnumz who previously signed him under his record label, WCB Wasafi.

Laika Music, who broke through the music industry with 'Overdose', which was produced by Nessim, was born Laika Umuhoza and is a Ugandan of Rwandan descent. She was born in Kanungu district in the Western region of Uganda but grew up in Munyonyo, Kampala.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and she completed her university education in the U.S. She graduated in 2019 and decided to become a singer.

Nwagi, who is signed to Swangz Avenue, was scouted by Benon Mugumbya while participating in Coca-Cola Rated Next. Nwagi was a competitor while Mugumbya was a judge. Her breakthrough song was Musawo, which was produced by the late Danz Kumapeesa.
