A total of 72 Ugandan nationals and legal residents who were stranded in China due to the Covid19 pandemic that led to the prohibition of passenger flights have been successfully repatriated.

According to the ministry of foreign affairs, they arrived at Entebbe International Airport on Friday at 11:08am aboard Southern China Airlines.

The flight departed at 5:20am from Baiyun International Airport, Guangzhou China.
