Minister of Foreign Affairs Sam Kutesa has in the past days received credentials from ambassadors representing Saudi Arabia, Japan, U.S.and U.K.in Uganda.
For the US Ambassador Natalie E. Brown, Minister Kutesa accepted the credential on November 17.
He used the meeting to hail “the excellent bilateral relations between both countries, which is premised on shared values for development,” the ministry said in a statement.

On the same day, he received those of Hidemoto Fukuzawa, the new Japanese Ambassador to Uganda.
According to the statement, the Minister commended the warm cordial relations between both countries “which continues to grow from strength to strength”.

Jamal M. H. Al-Madani, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, handed his credentials to Kutesa on Wednesday.

Kate Airey, the new High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Uganda, delivered her documents on Wednesday as well.
During their engagement, Kutesa lauded the historic and progressive bilateral relations existing between the UK and Uganda.
