The Chairman of the MK Movement, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has this afternoon welcomed seasoned journalist Mr Simon Muyanga Lutaaya to the MK Movement.

Gen Kainerugaba received Mr Lutaaya at a private office in Entebbe on Saturday afternoon.

The MK Movement Commissioner for External Affairs, Michael Katungi who is also a member of the Central Committee and patron of the MK Avengers attended a meeting in which Lutaaya was welcomed by the chairman.

In the 2021 General elections, Simon contested as a Candidate for Constituency Representative of Bulamogi county in Kaliro district on the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) ticket. 

He garnered 11,322 votes and lost the election to Bwiire Sanon Nadeeba, the NRM candidate.

Muyanga

Gen Kainerugaba recently welcomed another opposition MP into the MK Movement.

Dr Twaha Kagabo, Bukoto South MP is in Parliament having contested on the National Unity Platform ticket in the 2021 election.
