Several Link Bus passengers travelling from Bwera in Kasese have been injured after their bus rolled off the road and overturned on the Kampala-Mityana road.
The accident occurred on Thursday morning at Nyanzi Trading Centre, about 22 kilometers to Mityana Town. Details are still scanty but an eye witness at the scene says no one has died.
Reports say the driver of the Kampala bound bus Reg no. UBB 869R dozed off, losing control of the vehicle and it veered off the road to overturn. At the time of filing the story several injured passengers were being rushed for treatment. About 60 passengers were reportedly on board.
