The UPDF has received 1000 masks from Fairway Hotel.
The masks were on Monday handed over to the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Gen. David Muhoozi. The CDF hailed the public for the continued support to the forces in this coronavirus battle.
The UPDF is currently supporting the Uganda Police Force in enforcing measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19. The army has also attached its expert personnel to various health teams as well as distributing relief food.
The masks were delivered by Azhar Jaffer, the Managing Director Fairway Hotel. The UPDF Chief of Medical Services Maj Gen Dr. Ambrose Musinguzi noted that the masks will be very helpful especially to the frontline soldiers.
