The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda His Grace Samuel Stephen Kaziimba Mugalu has visited the UPDF Land Forces Headquarters in Bombo.
Archbishop Kaziimba came to pray for the entire UPDF that the Almighty God continues to bless them in their work of defending the country.
The Commander of the UPDF Land Forces Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba who said the force was honoured to host the archbishop held a private meeting with clergyman and his entourage and thanked the Archbishop for his pastoral visit and for ministering to the UPDF officers.
On 28 August 2019, Kaziimba was elected to serve as the ninth Archbishop of Uganda and Bishop of Kampala, effective 1 March 2020. In his capacity as Archbishp replacing Stanley Ntagali.
