The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has assigned new Patriotic Officer numbers to twenty members, including retired General Emmanuel Rwashande and Mr. Ssebunya Shafique.
PLU Secretary General David Kabanda issued the list of new numbers, which range from PO 021 to PO 040. According to Kabanda, PLU Chairman General Muhoozi Kainerugaba personally assigned the numbers to the members.

Secretary General David Kabanda expressed happiness in making the announcement. The new numbers bring the total of officially designated Patriotic Officers up to PO 040.
The list also includes a posthumous recognition: Mr. Peter Banura, noted as deceased, received PO 039.
The Patriotic League of Uganda continues to expand its membership through these numerical assignments, with Chairman General Muhoozi Kainerugaba personally overseeing the process.
