President Yoweri Museveni joined thousands at Kaunda Grounds to honor retired Chief Justice Alfonse Owiny-Dollo in a colorful homecoming ceremony. Praising the retired jurist for a career defined by "integrity and patriotism," the President highlighted Owiny-Dollo’s clean record and his pivotal role in healing Northern Uganda. The event, however, looked as much to the future as the past, as both leaders called for a new "economic war" on household poverty through intensive agriculture and regional trade.
