The Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has called out the Police for failing to protect musician Bebe Cool as he performed at Cindy Sanyu's boom party concert on Saturday.

Bebe Cool was again pelted with empty water bottles but the singer maintained a solid performance as the majority of the revelers showed him support as they cheered him on.

In a Monday morning tweet, the Gen Kainerugaba blamed the Police for failing to stop the ‘hooligans’ who threw bottles at the artiste and beat up President Yoweri Museveni’s supporters on Women’s Day.

“How could @PoliceUg and the bouncers at Cindy's Concert allow a few hooligans to hurl bottles at one of Uganda's greatest artists?” Gen Kainerugaba wondered in a tweet.

Bebe Cool is a known supporter and strong mobilizer for President Yoweri Museveni and the ruling National Resistance Movement.

Gen Kainerugaba added: “The same hooligans beat up women (on Women's Day) for simply loving Museveni and Bebe Cool. “We expect a lot better next time from the Police,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Police have arrested 11 people in connection with the incident at Cindy Sanyu's 'Boom Party' concert.
