Uganda Airlines has officially launched scheduled flights to Kigali, Rwanda, and Accra, Ghana, as it expands its network.
The airline will begin flights to Accra on October 27, 2026, with four flights every week. Flights to Kigali will start on November 18, 2026, with daily services.
The national carrier announced the new routes during a launch event held at Sheraton Kampala Hotel on Wednesday morning.
“These destinations present significant opportunities in business, trade, tourism, and investment, key drivers of air transport demand,” Uganda Airlines said in a statement posted on X.
“These new cities remain under-connected to much of Eastern and Southern Africa and are currently unserved by Uganda,” the statement added.
The airline said the new routes will improve connectivity between Uganda and West Africa, while creating more opportunities for travellers, businesses and investors.
